What's Your Guilty Food Pleasure?

Mine is wine and cheese, but probably not the version you are thinking of!

Yup.... those are Cheetos.  There is just something about the crunchy, salty, cheesiness that I succumb to every once in a while.  Add a glass of red wine and this is absolute heaven.....oh and I should mention the added bonus of licking the gummed on orange "cheese" from my fingers.  It's all part of the Cheetos indulgence.  Bad, but oh so satisfying...............
Sometimes Van Morrison gets invited to the party.  That's a really good time!

Wine and Cheese........."it's a good thing," as Martha would say.  Well, Martha would probably cringed at the thought of this.

So I've told you mine, what's your guilty food pleasure?

  2. Fresh-baked bread, right out of the oven if possible. I could eat the whole loaf covered with butter and can actually smell it now!

  3. Harry & David's Moose Munch...caramel-coated popcorn, almonds, cashews, pecans and coated with rich, delicious dark chocolate. The mood lightens, pleasure happens.

  6. Hmm, so many to choose from . . . maybe Denman Island organic hazelnut chocolate bars. on the ferry from nanaimo.
Or, maybe Rogers chocolate ice cream bars - with nuts. available in the terminal while waiting for the boat.

  7. ahhhh...Islanders always have the best kept secrets. BTW, I hope "with nuts" refers to the hard shelled variety and not the people that travel back on forth on boats :-)

  9. It's a toss up, but I think I'd have to say pasta (any kind, but J's is preferred). Keep it simple add a little cream, olive oil, butter, chilis, pepper and fresh grated parmesan cheese.

    PS my Cheezies are Hawkins

Smart food popcorn, I love it, bags of it. Is it really that smart? Sure feels like it when your eating it.

  13. Saltine crackers spread with butter and sprinkled with beef or chicken bouillon powder.

I have also been known to make a "taco" from an Eggo waffle, spread it with peanut butter and add maraschino cherries and chocolate chips.

You can guess my state when eating either of these culinary creations!
